What do we want to include for the user for v1.0?
* Environment customization
* Desktop wallpapers
* Animated richie background gif
* Login slideshow of RIT campus spots
* like the images used for the Wallace library backgrounds?
* WIFI connecting
* Auto connect to the RIT wireless network
* Just prompt for username and password
* Would be possible to include a static file for the RIT wireless network that is preconfigured for PEAP / MSCHAPv2
* https://github.com/FOSSRIT/connect-rit/blob/master/connect-rit
* dedicated rootkit that uses RIT wifi to ddos people we don't like
* commanded via ritlug irc channel
* Browser start page
* Included bookmarks – this is possible in Firefox, but what about Chrome?
* RPMFusion repositories enabled by default
* Including drivers for video watching, i.e. Netflix
* Destler singles sample music
* bootable
* do we want encryption? - Could it be difficult or confusing for a new user to set this up, or if they forget the encryption passphrase, will they understand that they won't be able to recover their system *at all*?
* Definitely add option.
* Maybe something to add to the wiki/documentation and make it easy for them to do later
* User experience (i.e. "I've never used Linux before, what am I doing and where am I?")
* Desktop environment: Cinnamon helpful for users who are used to Window environments?
* "Sane defaults" – providing cool shell customizations that make the UI clean and easily understandable
* Add to wiki how to install other DEs if they want
* Browser flexibiity: Including Firefox (already included) and Chromium from first install
* Nonfree plugins (Netflix, Flash) for functionality and convenience
* DuckDuckGo: Search engine by default (is this possible in either Firefox or Chromium configuration files?????)
* If people want google we can put in the documentation how to switch to google and why we use DuckDuckGo as a default and we can include a link to the wiki in the default homepage
* +1
* Redshift for the eyes. (On x11)
* Jokes
* custom recording of the RIT alma mater
* sung by orphan children who need a home
* a script that renames all created documents by appending tiger to the end of it - lolol
* dedicated nuke command for when you mess up and want to start over - RIP
* Need to install command auto correct for helping new users ( https://github.com/nvbn/thefuck )
* introduce user to password security by auto resetting their password every 24hours. Cannot share password with user as that would violate security
* You awful, awful person
* Double awful person.
* Encourage early childhood sharing by syncing bookmarks between all users
* Introduce users to understanding the hardships of those with sight problems by changing the character font after each key pressed (at random)
* Dedicated duckduckgo and chill mode
* Increase IP security by manually approving each packet.
* could possibly outsource to central authority by forwarding packets to the central authoritity and then once approval is granted send them back to be sent formally again
* Think (Burp suite) - https://portswigger.net/burp/
* Let users know we care for their health through forced parental settings
* install f.lux for improved sleeping - if we're doing f.lux - Fedora uses Redshift GNOME oh
* force power off machine after working too long (no warning given as you would ignore your mom telling you to get off xbox anyways)
* disable web cam functionality from hackers via electrical short
* remind users of their homework obligations through hard shocks to the trackpad
* Nickcage plugin installed by default (cloud to butt optional) <- required
* remote clouds that the user connects to are also turned into butts
